During your tour, you may:

- Learn about queens, workers and drones
- Discover how local flowers and seasonal blooms influence the flavor of each apiary’s honey
- Ask questions about honey bees and beekeeping in Florida

What To Expect
For your safety and comfort, closed-toe shoes are required, and we recommend wearing long pants during your visit. Bee jackets, veils, gloves, and all necessary protective equipment are provided, allowing you to safely experience our working apiary alongside thousands of live honey bees. Because tours take place around active colonies, anyone with a known severe bee-sting allergy should consult their medical professional before participating. To ensure the health of our bees and the best possible experience for our guests, tours are subject to weather conditions and colony activity and may be rescheduled if necessary.

Practical instruction for experienced beekeepers looking to strengthen their colony-management skills. Topics may include queen management, Varroa and small hive beetle control, swarm management and honey production.
